The Inspeed Global – IG – technical director attended the Company Member Forum – CMF – that is organized remotely by ANSI in 9th and 10th of June 2020.
The 2020 CMF serves as a venue for ANSI members from across the expanse of U.S. industry to examine issues tied to national and global standards, as well as conformity assessment developments. This CMF is held virtually via WebEx to feature important updates, as well as a Standards Management Capacity session to discuss managing standard meetings remotely and the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the landscape of standards meeting and activities.
The CMF’s Sessions will cover emerging technologies, standards management and capacity, and an update on government relations. The forum provides a platform for industry members to discuss national, regional, and global standards and conformity assessment issues, and to collectively influence U.S. policies related to domestic and international standardization. Many ANSI corporate members cite this cross-industry networking as one of the primary benefits of membership, which often results in alliances between different Industries and cooperative partnering to leverage resources.
